Mid Michigan is geographically in the middle of Michigan’s
Lower Peninsula and home to Central Michigan University, Mid Michigan Community
College, and the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.
The region has a past rich in timber, agriculture, and oil and gas
exploration; and a bright future in bio mass, manufacturing, oil and gas, and bio
med. Known for having a skilled
workforce and strong work ethic, Mid Michigan traditionally maintains some of
the lowest unemployment rates in the State of Michigan.
